Schlep, a dedicated Roblox player since childhood, recently revealed that Roblox has threatened him with legal action over his YouTube content aimed at exposing sexual predators on the platform.
The 22-year-old shared an alleged letter from Roblox officials stating that his “actions are a violation of Roblox policies and directly undermine Roblox’s safety efforts and, critically, are exposing our users to increased risk.”

The letter also acknowledged that while Schlep’s “stated intentions may be to protect children,” his “methods” were seen as “actively interfering” with Roblox’s own safety measures.
Following this, Schlep claims that Roblox terminated every account he has ever had on the platform, including one he created when he was just eight years old.
In response, Schlep posted a video on YouTube defending his work and criticizing Roblox’s actions. He stated that over the past year, his efforts and those of his team contributed to the arrest of “six predators within the Roblox community.”
Despite his long history with the platform and efforts to raise concerns, Schlep described Roblox’s recent outreach as the “first time” anyone from the company contacted him directly, calling the ban “pretty heartbreaking.”
Schlep’s motivation stems from a personal experience of being groomed on Roblox as a child by a well-known developer. “He manipulated me, he used power dynamics over me, and frequently exposed me to gore and NSFW material and loads of other stuff that a kid should never see,” Schlep said. He recalled that during a hospital stay, his mother contacted Roblox about the predator, but their concerns were dismissed. That individual continued grooming others before finally being banned years later.
The player emphasized his longstanding connection to the Roblox community despite recognizing the platform’s flaws.
Now, Schlep says he will not use Roblox “in any capacity” unless explicitly permitted by the company. He directed followers to a website where he will continue his predator-targeted investigations independently of Roblox.
In a separate news release, Roblox commented on “cases of vigilante groups or individuals violating our policies to entrap users or otherwise self-police.”
Schlep criticized the platform’s language, pointing out that law enforcement agencies have publicly expressed gratitude for the work he and his team have done.
