Sean Kingston was detained after cops suspected he might be illegally packing heat on Saturday, but he wasn’t.
According to TMZ, Kingston was detained outside Dino’s Chicken & Burgers in L.A. after the LAPD claim they received a call that a male was brandishing a gun.
Once officers arrived on the scene, they ordered at least one man down on the ground and put Kingston in handcuffs as they led him toward a police car. Sean and several others were questioned and released after no gun was found.
An eyewitness told TMZ, the initial drama started because people were pissed that Sean’s car was blocking the exit in the parking lot, and no one could leave. The eyewitness went on to say Sean got angry and threw ice cubes at the glass windows of the restaurant, and someone called the cops.
