Undisputed will be saying goodbye to Shannon Sharpe.
Fox Sports and Sharpe have apparently negotiated a buyout agreement. Sources say that his last show will take place the month after the NBA Finals are over.
Sharpe’s podcast, Club Shay Shay, will also be cut from the network.
Undisputed initially aired in September 2016 after Shannon split ways from ESPN’s First Take with Stephen A. Smith.
In January, Skip appeared to have crossed that line with Sharpe after he had questioned why the NFL would postpone a “crucial” regular season game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals when Damar Hamlin experienced cardiac arrest on the field.
That following day, Shannon didn’t appear on Undisputed and made it clear that he didn’t show because of Skip’s tweet, but Skip stood by what he said.
A month before that, Skip accused Sharpe of being jealous of Tom Brady since “he’s still playing at a high level at 45 when you had to stop at 35.” However, the former Pro Bowler defended his resume, saying, “You make it seem like I was a bum! I’m in the effing Hall of Fame! I got three Super Bowls!”
Though the two have had their fair share of heated moments, it appears his split from the network is all business and not personal.
