Snoop Dogg has been a force in business and entertainment since the start of his career, and now, he’s on to his next multi-million dollar venture.
With the help of entrepreneur and promoter Bobby Dee, who has sold out nightclubs with artists such as Eazy-E and New Kids on the Block, the Long Beach rapper is launching “Uncle Snoop’s Army.”
According to Billboard, their goal is to deliver “top tier live music concerts.”
“Snoop Dogg has been coming to my concerts for years,” said Dee in a release. “It was the right time for us to partner and bring exciting live concerts to the world while also creating a platform for new and seasoned artists.”
Uncle Snoop’s Army, presented by Bobby Dee, already has a number of events lined up for music lovers to attend this summer and fall, including a three-day festival dedicated to Nipsey Hussle, Sept. 13-15 in San Jose, California.
“The King of the West” festival will feature artists from the West Coast, such as Ice Cube, E-40, Warren G, and The Game, headlining at the SAP center arena. The festival is set to be part of the SAP center arena’s 25th-anniversary celebration.
Fortunately, for Snoop Dogg and Bobby Dee, the company is already off to a great start. Their joint festival, Once Upon a Time in LBC, sold out in 20 minutes and a second date added shortly after, sold out as well.
