Soulja Boy just dodged a major bullet because prosecutors have rejected the option to charge him for allegedly kidnapping a woman and tying her to a char in his garage.
According to TMZ, the Ventura County District attorney has declined to file charges against Soulja due to insufficient evidence.
The alleged victim had initially accused the rapper of holding her captive for 6 hours, but law enforcement sources told TMZ the police investigation couldn’t prove it.
Due to the victim’s claims, the Ventura County Sheriff Department served a search warrant at Soulja home and extensively searched for evidence of a kidnapping.
While no evidence was found to corroborate a kidnapping, officers did find ammo on the property which was a violation of Soulja’s probation from a 2014 weapons case, and that’s ultimately the reason Soulja ended up back in the slammer serving a 240-day sentence.
