Everyone goes through ups and downs within their relationship. Often times, we feel the need to vent to get out the frustration that we are feeling. Regardless of your overwhelming emotions, keep your family and social media out of it.
How many times have you logged onto social media and saw someone you know venting about their relationship or the lack of? Annoying, right? Don’t be that guy. It doesn’t matter what’s going on in your relationship, keep it off of social media! Everyone doesn’t have your best interest at heart and majority of the time, the outsiders are laughing at you.
It seems people have trouble understanding that there is a such a thing as sharing too much information. Everyone is not rooting for you. There are some people waiting for your relationship to fail and giving them ammunition isn’t going to help either. Don’t give people a reason to talk about you or look at you crazy.
Discussing your relationship with your family is not a good idea either. Once you have shared all the negative things about your significant other or ex, they will not be as forgiving. While you are ready to forgive and forget, your family will not be ready to do either.
No matter what you go through just keep your family and social media out of your business unless it’s a very serious situation and you’re seeking help. Other than that, handle it the best way you can and talk to your close friend. At least you know there won’t be any judgments on their part.
