Boston police may have found the man responsible for Jassy Correia’s disappearance.
The suspect’s red Nissan Altima was located in Delaware by state police. Boston Police stated Louis D. Coleman III was arrested after a brief police pursuit led officers to find a dead body in the trunk.
“A body has been recovered, and we are awaiting a positive identification at this time. The cause and manner of death are pending. This remains an active and ongoing, multi-agency, multi-jurisdictional investigation. Additional information will be provided when available.”
The 32-year-old was wanted in connection to Correia’s kidnapping since her father declared her missing to Boston PD on Sunday. Investigators eventually identified Coleman as the last person to be with the 23-year-old mother in the Theater District around 12:15 a.m.
Further digging into Louis didn’t uncover anything sinister, however. A neighbor from his Chestnut Street apartment in Providence described him as a “normal guy.”
Regardless of how “normal” he may have seemed, officials had no problem treating the case as a criminal investigation.
