The Game Goes Off On “Girly” Rappers Rockin’ Nail Polish and Skirts in New IG Rant

The Game has aired his frustrations with the current state of male rap fashion in a new Instagram rant. The Compton rapper had no filter when he criticized how some artists in the industry have been embracing traditionally feminine looks.

“These rap [ninjas] gettin’ more girly every new day,” he posted. “Nail polish, skirts… SMH.”

He didn’t stop there. The “Hate It Or Love It” performer questioned how ladies are supposed to find masculine men these days, saying, “I feel bad for women, how you find a good man when they wanna be good girls.”

Though he didn’t mention anyone directly, fans quickly pointed to some of today’s trendsetting rappers who have pushed fashion boundaries. Lil Uzi Vert, who recently changed his pronouns to they/them, and even Young Thug, who made headlines years ago for rocking a dress on his album cover, are just a few names who have come to mind.

No rappers have clapped back at The Game’s post as of yet, though it wouldn’t be surprising if he caught a few strays from his rap colleagues who often blur the clothing lines.
