Boston Celtics Ruin Christmas in Los Angeles
The Boston Celtics pace was evident from the start of the game, with an 11-0 lead. By halftime, the Lakers were down by one. But the Celtics are so good when playing at their best.
It was evident last night when they registered seven blocks and eight steals in the game. Kristaps Porzingis got going in the second and dominated in the third, finishing the game with 28 points and 11 rebounds.
Kristaps Porzingis now up to a league-best 1.44 points per play on all post ups. He’s shooting 71.4% on all post ups. Generates free throws on 32.7% of post up chances.
Just a ridiculous luxury for Celtics to be able to dump it in and let him go to work. pic.twitter.com/qAJwGgGbX1

The starting five of the Celtics scored 108 of the team’s 126 points. As for the Los Angeles Lakers, Anthony Davis finished the game with 40 points and 13 rebounds.
Las Vegas Raiders Upset The Kansas City Chiefs Upset at Home
The Kansas City Chiefs have been sabotaging themselves all season, and yesterday was proof of the glaring issue. The Chiefs fell victim to a slew of unfortunate plays, including a fumble recovery for a touchdown, and an interception was thrown by Patrick Mahomes seven seconds later.

Chiefs’ Kicker Harrison Burker missed a shot, and the team couldn’t convert on two fourth-down tries in the second half. The Chiefs also went three-and-out on consecutive series to start a game for the second time in Mahomes career.
On the other hand, the Raiders’ Zamir White ran for 146 yards on 22 carries, while Aidan O’Connell threw for 62 yards on 9 of 21 passing.
Luka Doncic Home-Court Might be in Phoenix
Luka lands in Phoenix, and it’s like he’s back in the Euroleague. The 24-year-old became the sixth fastest to record 10,000 points, with 17 in the first quarter. The Suns missed 13 straight shots in the first quarter, which inevitably had them playing from behind for most of the night.
It looks like Luka Doncic officially got another assist added to his stat line last night, giving him 15‼️
Only two players in NBA history have ever had 50+ points and 15+ assists in a game:

Grayson Allen scored 19 of his 32 points in the third quarter, and the Suns took the lead briefly. Things got chippy when Grant Williams got tangled up with Phoenix shooting guard Devin Booker. Booker fouled Williams hard, which wasn’t called, so the Charlotte native jacked the shooting guard up.

Lamar Jackson Tries To Stamp MVP Case As the Baltimore Ravens Defeat San Francisco 49ers on The Road
Last night, the first possession of the Baltimore Ravens was a safety. The official fell as Lamar ran at him, and he tripped him. He called him for intentional grounding, and from that point on, the Baltimore Ravens did not let the officials dictate the game.
Their defense was DOMINANT, forcing Niners Quarterback Brock Purdy into four interceptions. Once their best lineman, Trent Williams, was hurt, the offensive line of the Niners could not contain the Ravens’ defensive tackles. Jadeveon Clowney and Brent Urbans gave the Niners line fits.
WOW. BROCK PURDY THROWS HIS THIRD INTERCEPTION OF THE DAY.

Kyle Hamilton had two huge interceptions before injuring his knee late in the game. Lamar Jackson was elusive last night, sacked twice and running for 45 yards. He went 25 of 35, passing for 252 yards and two passing touchdowns.
