James Lopez Talks The Photograph

Will Packer Productions’ new film, The Photograph is already receiving rave reviews from critics, and the film’s producer, James Lopez, took some time out to have a chat about it with Baller Alert.

The movie is based upon a famous photographer’s daughter, “Mae Morton,” played by Issa Rae. As Mae’s mother’s untimely death leaves Mae both questioning life and angry, another unexpected event turns her grief upside down.

“This is amazing, ya know, it’s been a long journey for this film to get to this point; to be at a premiere. I read the script, probably four years ago,” he said.” I thought it was something that we should produce, and we fought hard to get this made and long nights, long days on set, and a night like tonight just makes it all worth it. I can’t wait for the world to see what we’ve created, and Stella [Meghie] did an amazing job writing and directing this film.”

James Lopez has also produced films such as Little, Girl’s Trip, and What Men Want.

The Photograph has already grossed $14 million at the Box Office since its debut on Valentine’s Day.
