Former Martin co-stars Tichina Arnold, and Tisha Campbell are set to host the 2020 Soul Train Awards, marking the third time the pair has hosted the annual event that honor the best artists in Soul, R&B, and Hip-Hop.
The duo announced their return to the stage on their Instagram pages.
“Let’s GO!!!!!” Campbell captioned.
“We’re Baaaaaaack! #SoulTrainAwards 2020 – They say the 3rd times a Charm,” Arnold added.
With two years of hosting the annual award ceremony under their belt, fans can expect the long-time friends and co-producers to continue to bring their “dynamic comedy” and “infectious personalities” once again to this year’s virtual show.
Among this year’s nominees is singer-songwriter H.E.R, who leads the way with eight nominations, including ‘Best R&B/Soul Female Artist.’ Following the talented singer is Chris Brown with seven nominations, including ‘Best Dance Performance,’ ‘Best Collaboration,’ and ‘Video of the Year’ for the hit single “Go Crazy” with rapper Young Thug.
Other top nominees include Beyoncé with six nods, Young Thug, Chloe x Halle, Summer Walker, Usher, YG, Brandy, and PJ Morton.
BET Network has yet to announce the list of performers. Before the start of the ceremony, a one-hour pre-show begins at 7 EST. The show itself is set to air on BET, BET Her, VH1, and MTV on Sunday, November 29, at 8 pm EST. It will be followed by “the broadcast television debut of DJ Cassidy’s groundbreaking, virtual series “Pass the Mic.”
