This is pretty sad news. TJ Ford was a college star and hometown hero when I was coming up and he wasn’t much older than I was. Just moments ago, the 28 year old San Antonio Spur took to his Twitter to announce his retirement. This announcement comes just after a recent injury during the Spurs v. Knicks game. Ford was drafted to the Milwaukee Bucks in 2003 as the eighth overall pick. It’s sad to see his career be so short lived due to injuries. I wish him the best of luck!
