It’s not about extravagant dates, getting dolled up, or trying to impress each other. If you love sitting around with him in your underwear, doing absolutely nothing but vibing with each other, you just might be in love.

Selfless acts are love. Its hard for people to be selfless and compromise without conflict. That’s the key, WITHOUT CONFLICT. If its easy for you to think about them before yourself and act on that, you just might be in love.

Now, this might be different for each relationship. But, at some point you figure out your role in the relationship. It’s when you learn his fighting habits, his loving habits, his priorities, and his fears. Its when you learn how to respond to him in a positive, uplifting way. This is one of the hardest things to do in a relationship, it requires patience, trial and error, trust, and selflessness. To be fair, when men put their woman in front of other priorities thats a pretty hard thing for him too. If you find yourself knowing when to give him space, how to read between the lines of his actions, and when to cut him some slack, you just might be in love.

A lot of girls start planning their weddings when they’re still playing with Barbie. They can have every detail planned out except for the face of the man standing at the end of that aisle. If you can truly see your day-to-day life with a man, and you can see his face in your lifelong fantasy, you just might be in love.
