Tyrese Gibson Takes Responsibility For Attacking The Rock Publicly Over His “Fast & Furious” Spin-Off: “It’s Not Professional, It’s Not Cool”

Just months after Tyrese Gibson made headlines for his social media meltdown over the custody battle with his ex-wife, Norma, the singer-turned-actor is opening up about his actions, including his public, one-sided feud with his “Fast and Furious” co-star, #TheRock.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

In a recent sit down with #VanLathan on “The Red Pill” podcast, Tyrese cleared the air about his issue with the professional wrestler-turned-actor. It all started when Johnson announced his “Fast and Furious” spin-off, which ultimately pushed back the release date for “Furious 9,” and postponed the singer’s coin.

In addition to The Rock beef, Gibson also exposed a private conversation between him and Jada Pinkett-Smith, at that time. But, according to the “Sweet Lady” singer, it all comes down to one thing: Psych Meds.

”Everything about, you know, going at The Rock publicly, psych meds,” he said. “Talking about Will Smith, money, my wife being pregnant, just everything. It’s just f*cking bad.”

“I have yet to talk to The Rock, to this day, and we will have a conversation,” he continued, adding that he did speak to the actor’s right-hand man, but that was all.

”I found myself being the messenger on behalf of various people associated to the franchise, but stupid me was the only one that went public about those feelings. Which is my own fault. It’s not professional, it’s not cool,” Gibson continued, as he added that his attack was completely unprovoked on The Rock’s part.
