France is not letting any unvaccinated Americans in.
Unvaccinated Americans looking to visit France can say au revoir to those plans, as the country won’t let them in unless they’ve got proof of being fully vaccinated.
On Thursday, the country issued a French government decree stating that the United States and Israel have been placed on its “orange” list, which means they are completely banned from nonessential travel to France.
Unvaccinated folks needing to enter the country for essential reasons would still have to have a negative COVID-19 test. They’ll also have to quarantine for seven days once they arrive, CNN reports.
This move comes after the number of COVID-19 cases in the U.S. continues to rise alongside the new Rona’s Delta variant cases. Sweden has banned visitation from U.S. arrivals completely, whether vaccinated or not.
