Just as rumors circulated that Aquaman 2 was dropped, Warner Bros. dropped a teaser trailer for the film.
Fans feared the studio was leaving the movie by the wayside, but the release of the 30-second promo, with the promise of the full trailer dropping Thursday, proves otherwise.

Before the release, the comic book crowd was in a frenzy over the weekend amid gossip about “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” — which is coming out in December but had yet to show off any official marketing material, including first looks, teaser trailers, or anything else.
One person suggested that Warner Bros knows “it’s bad, they know it’ll lose money, and they aren’t putting a marketing budget behind it at all.”
‘Aquaman 2’ reportedly had a budget that ballooned north of $200 million through a ton of different reshoots amid the pandemic.
Time will tell.
