Page Six reports that during Tamar Braxton’s brief absence from her daytime talk show, The Real, producers were “relieved.”
If you recall, Tamar was out with what she believed to be pneumonia back in November. Tests revealed, however, that she was actually suffering from pulmonary embolism (bloodclots in her lungs) which caused her to cut her stint with Dance With The Stars short. The 38 year old singer also underwent surgery to remove a rib due to a condition called thoracic outlet syndrome, a condition in which muscles develop and compress veins. Removing the rib essentially removed the obstruction of her vein.
Sources tell Page Six that while Tamar was away tending to her health, The Real producers were able to get a lot more done. “They seemed much happier without her. It’s easier for them to book guests because celebrities don’t want to book the show if they have to be interviewed by her,” a source claimed. Guests while Tamar was away included Rick Ross, Kelly Rowland and Dr. Drew.
A rep for the show has since stepped forward refuting the claims. According to the rep, the claim was “absolutely untrue and to report it would be false.”
So there it is folks, as far as we know, everything is all good on The Real between producers and Tamar.
