Chicago Woman Arrested And Charged With Trespassing For Boarding A Plane Without A Ticket

A Chicago woman has been arrested for boarding a plane without a ticket at O’Hare Airport this weekend.

Yaazmina Payton, 23, was charged with criminal trespassing for allegedly illegally boarding the plane at Terminal 3, police said.

Police confirmed to Chicago TV affiliate WLS that Payton was removed from the aircraft right after 8 am on Sunday and arrested.

There’s no word about which airline she crashed and how she got passed TSA checkpoints to get on the flight.

Payton has been charged with a felony count of criminal trespass at an airport and a misdemeanor count of criminal trespass to a vehicle, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

A spokesperson for the TSA said Monday, “The safety and security of all travelers are our top priority. We are investigating this incident, and cases of this nature can take up to 90 days.”

A Cook County judge ordered her held on $5,000 bail and expected to appear in court again on November 16.
