In a shocking video of a woman driving into the river Niagara Falls, it appears to be intentional. The New York State Park Police Department is labeling the incident as an “intentional act.”
In a statement, they said, “At this point in the investigation, entry into the water appears to be an intentional act.”
The incident was caught on camera by Coast Guard as spectators watched the car plummet into the water. Once the video caught attention, a chopper lowered a diver to rescue the woman from the sinking car, however, she was dead. Apparently, she was in her 60s, and her identity has not been revealed yet. She was the only person in the car.
The woman’s car remains in the brink of Niagara Falls as of Thursday but has been inching closer to the cliff.
