R. Kelly is speaking out about the allegations against him. According to TMZ, the singer says claims that he holds young women, including Joycelyn Savage, against their will in a so called sex cult are completely false.
Kelly told TMZ the story is a false narrative started by Joycelyn’s parents after he declined to work with them. He claims her father pushed her singing career, and when that did not work out, made up stories and demanded money.
Kelly also claims Joycelyn’s mother is upset because his backup dancers did not use designs from her boutique. He says Joycelyn is not being held against her will, pointing out that her mother has visited on several occasions and that Joycelyn herself has said she is fine.
These are Kelly’s claims. Joycelyn’s parents have publicly said they believe she is being controlled by Kelly, which he denies.
