Before 49ers defensive lineman Ray McDonald was arrested last month for assaulting his pregnant fiancee, cops say there were called to McDonald’s home previously for a domestic disturbance.
On May 25th, San Jose cops were called to McDonald’s home for an incident involving an engaged couple. According to the incident report (which does not mention McDonald’s name), while the couple was arguing the woman grabbed a firearm and held it at her side. The man then told her he was going to call 911 and she ran out of the house. The woman was said to not have pointed the gun at the man or threatened to fire.
Ray McDonald was arrested for a seperate domestic violence incident just a few weeks ago. Fellow Niner’s Vernon Davis and Demarcus Dobbs were present. At this time the 49ers organization have chosen to allow McDonald to remain active while he goes through the legal process. It is unclear whether they were previously aware of the incident in May.
I wonder if his faincee grabbed the gun for protection. Why else would she not point it at him or threaten him?
