Fresh off the release of their new single “Clout Chasing,” as well as their most recent wedding anniversary, Remy Ma spoke to Baller Alert about her Ballerific Relationship with Papoose.
The couple celebrated their 11-year anniversary, which marked their fourth since her 2014 release. Although the two kept it traditional, with dinner and a movie, Remy revealed that the two spiced things up with a friendly competition.
“We ate breakfast, we went to see a movie and then like, we had a competition where we play songs that affected our relationship from the beginning to now, I won,” Remy said before Papoose shared the keys to keeping a strong relationship on reality television.
“Loyalty and communication,” Papoose said. “You take turns speaking, hear each other out, you’ll find out…you’ll see where you was wrong if you hear your partner speak.”
As the interview continued, the couple opened up about Fat Joe’s support in the wake of Remy’s assault case, saying, “That’s my brother.”
“That’s family,” Remy said. “That’s another strong part of being able to have a marriage that lasts as long. When you have a good foundation, good family, and people that you love and trust around you. That’s in your best interest.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Remy sent a message to fans, thanking them for their love and support throughout the years.
“I just love their unwavering, undying support of me and I appreciate it,” Remy said.
