I’m not sure how often you threaten to stick your penis in the mouth of your BFF, threaten to smack his mom or call him a “half n*gger” piece of sh** but Richie Incognito obviously thinks this is what good pals do. Incognito sat down with FOX NFL for an in depth interview where he pretty much blames his actions on the NFL locker room and says that Jonathan Martin isn’t even mad at him. Someone fire this guy’s publicist!
Incognito says that in the NFL locker rooms people (black and white) use the n-word freely and that he DOES feel it is inappropriate for him to use it…..although he admits he uses it all the time. Just read that back to yourself a few times and let me know if you’re as confused as I am. Then Incognito says he didn’t think this was a case of bullying … and was more “an issue of mine and Jon’s relationship, where I’ve taken stuff too far, and I didn’t know it was hurting him.” He refers to Jonathan Martin as his best friend and even admits to speaking to him after this incident. He claims Martin said “I don’t blame you guys. I blame some stuff in the locker room. I blame the culture. I blame what was going on around me.”
First of all, if Incognito was smart he wouldn’t say anything to Martin other than “I’m Sorry.” Calling him your best friend, after the vile things you said about him and his family, you’d have to be an idiot for us to believe that mess. Don’t even get me started on his STUPID reasoning behind calling Martin a “half n*gger” and him passing the buck on to the NFL. It’s clear Richie Incognito hasn’t grown up or even learned from this situation at the very least.
