Former NBA forward Samaki Walker is in trouble with the law after a traffic stop in Arizona.
Walker, who played for the Lakers, Spurs, Pacers and several other teams, was pulled over last Thursday while driving his Mercedes. According to police, during the stop he tried to eat about eight grams of marijuana.
Police say that wasn’t all they found. Officers seized about 10 grams of marijuana, some prescription pills and eight bottles of liquid steroids from his car.
Walker has not commented on the arrest.
He won a championship with the Lakers in 2002, so this is a rough headline for a player with a ring.
