Sandro Duval, the man Baller Alert exposed last year for allegedly posing as Detroit Lions cornerback Chris Houston, has been arrested again in Miami Beach. This time he’s accused of running up a $2,600 bar tab he couldn’t pay.
If the name sounds familiar, it should. More than a year ago, Baller Alert caught on to Duval allegedly passing himself off as Chris Houston on Twitter and in Miami clubs. He was arrested one year ago over the same kind of scheme.
According to a source who spoke to Bossip, Duval showed up at Club Play in South Beach once again claiming to be Chris Houston. The staff had been warned about him, but management let him in to see how far he would take it.
Once inside, the source says, Duval started chatting up a group of businessmen from France and Saudi Arabia and told them he was Lil Wayne’s personal manager. By the end of the night, their table had a $15,000 tab, and Duval’s share came to $2,600.
The source says his card was declined. He told the group he couldn’t understand why and promised to have cash in the morning. When that didn’t work and the businessmen left, club management confronted him. That’s when, according to the source, he switched identities again and said he was Chris Gamble of the Carolina Panthers. He promised he’d be right back with the money if they let him leave.
They didn’t. The source says security walked Duval from table to table for about an hour while he tried to get other football players and celebrities, in the club for EJ Biggers’ birthday party, to cover his bill. Nobody did.
Miami Beach Police were called. Outside, Duval allegedly kept making calls trying to find someone to pay the tab, and even told officers he was an undercover FBI agent out of West Palm Beach working a case.
He was taken into custody and is being held at Miami-Dade County Jail on charges including grand theft and attempted credit card fraud.
So, according to the source, that’s three identities in one night: Chris Houston, Lil Wayne’s manager and Chris Gamble, plus an FBI badge he didn’t have.
Ladies, and club owners, keep your eyes open. If a man says he plays in the NFL, make sure he’s actually on a roster.
