Scarface Kidney Transplant

Rapper Scarface is showing his appreciation after receiving a new kidney from his son, Christopher Jordan.

Scarface, whose real name is Brad Jordan, addressed his fans during an Instagram Live session on Wednesday to give them an update on his health and gratitude towards Christopher.

“That boy saved my life, man. And I love him so much. But I always said that shit, though. He’s the best son a guy could have,” the 50-year-old said. The “I Seen A Man Die” hip-hop veteran told his son during the live stream how much he loved him and jokingly told viewers that Christopher “won’t let a n—a die.”

The kidney transplant comes after a nearly fatal battle with COVID-19 last year that attacked Scarface’s lungs and kidneys. While he was able to recover from Pneumonia, his kidney’s suffered irreversible damage, which led to him receiving dialysis treatments. He eventually broke the news that he needed a kidney and took to social media to find a donor.

Following the successful procedure, Christopher shared a photo on Instagram of him and his dad in the hospital while recovering.

“Surgery went well. My dad is thriving kidney is working great!!!!,” he wrote.
