Singer Sean Kingston is facing a civil lawsuit from a woman who alleges she was assaulted in his Seattle hotel room in July 2010, according to a report from TMZ.

The plaintiff, now 22, claims she was invited to Kingston’s hotel after a Justin Bieber concert where he had performed, expecting a meet and greet. According to the lawsuit, she says she had been drinking and was unable to consent, and that Kingston, his bodyguard and a member of his band had sex with her against her will. She says a friend came into the room, police were called and she was taken to a hospital, where she says she was treated for injuries consistent with sexual assault.

The woman says the experience has left her dealing with sleeplessness, mood swings and panic attacks. She is seeking at least $5 million from the three men named in the suit.

Kingston denies the allegations. In his own court filings, he says the encounter was consensual. Reports note that criminal charges connected to the 2010 incident were dropped. We did not see a public response from the bodyguard or the band member.

This is a civil case, and everything above is an allegation. Nothing has been proven in court. Baller Alert will keep you posted as the case moves forward.
