Soulidified, the soulful, R&B-leaning quartet fans affectionately nicknamed “Cookies and Cream” for their beautifully diverse look and blended sound, has officially signed with Atlantic Records, according to Variety. For a group that started out as four strangers auditioning solo, not knowing who they’d end up standing next to, this is the moment their journey goes from reality TV breakout to full-blown recording artists.

Soulidified’s story starts the way none of their labelmates’ stories do: with four guys who had never met, auditioning individually for a Netflix competition series with no idea they’d be placed in a group together. That’s the entire premise of “Building the Band”: vocal chemistry decides who ends up on stage together, not friendship, not looks, not history.By episode three, Landon Boyce, Malik Heard, Shade Jenifer, and Bradley Rittmann had found each other, and the connection was undeniable from their very first performance together. Each member brought something different to the table. Landon, a 20-year-old singer-songwriter and model out of Utah, had already been part of another boy band before landing on the show. Malik, 27 and from Texas, had chased this dream through both “The Voice” and “American Idol” before finding his people on “Building the Band.” Shade, 26, from Maryland, was working front desk and delivery driver jobs while grinding toward music in the background. And Bradley, a 22-year-old Berklee College of Music grad from Massachusetts, had already performed on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” before the cameras started rolling on this competition.
Together, they finished third overall on the show, but anyone who followed their run knows the placement barely tells the story. Their covers, especially the R&B classics that became their signature, went viral for a reason. It’s that soulful, warm, unmistakably R&B tone that inspired the name Soulidified in the first place, and it’s the same sound that turned casual viewers into a real fanbase, one they call the Souldiers.
Soulidified didn’t slow down when the cameras stopped rolling. They dropped their debut original single “One & Only” in August 2025, followed by “What’s Your Name” earlier this year, both showing off the blend of pop, soul, and R&B they’ve built their identity around, drawing comparisons to the greats that clearly inspire them, from Boyz II Men and NSYNC to Michael Jackson, Usher, and Beyoncé. They hit the road on the Bandemonium Tour in 2025 with sold-out stops across the country, and later joined fellow “Building the Band” alum 3Quency for a run that carried them from Florida all the way to Las Vegas. Along the way, they crossed 140,000 monthly Spotify listeners and built a fanbase that shows up hard for them online.
Now, that grind has led them to one of music’s most iconic labels.
Signing to Atlantic Records puts Soulidified in genuinely elite company. The label’s current roster includes some of the biggest names across every genre: Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Charli XCX, Jack Harlow, Lil Uzi Vert, Kehlani, Burna Boy, Ty Dolla $ign, Wiz Khalifa, Trey Songz, Janelle Monáe, PinkPantheress, Melanie Martinez, and Gucci Mane, to name just a few. Soulidified also joins a wave of buzzy new Atlantic signings, arriving around the same time as other high-profile additions to the label’s family.
For a group that built its following on raw chemistry and soulful harmonies rather than a traditional industry come-up, landing on a roster stacked with icons and hitmakers is a full-circle validation of everything they’ve built since that first episode.
With a major label now behind them, all signs point to Soulidified stepping into a bigger chapter — new music, bigger stages, and a broader platform to keep growing the Souldiers into a global fanbase. From four strangers who didn’t even know each other’s names to a signed act on one of the most legendary labels in music, Soulidified’s journey is proof that soulful chemistry can take you all the way. Congratulations are in order, and we cannot wait to hear what’s next.
