Soulja Boy Makes Peace with Kandi Burruss Over Podcast Drama Thanks to T.I.’s Mediation [Video]

Soulja Boy has apologized to Kandi Burruss to her face, ending a brief feud that started after Burruss interviewed one of his former employees on her “Speak On It” podcast. The rapper credited their mutual friend T.I. for helping them mend their differences.

“He called my phone and we talked,” Soulja Boy said.

T.I. helped Soulja Boy understand that Burruss wasn’t aware of the guest’s comments beforehand and didn’t need to contact him first since she didn’t have a personal relationship with the rapper.

“I shouldn’t have been that mad at you because you didn’t know what that person was going to say,” Soulja Boy told Burruss during the podcast.

The disagreement began after Burruss interviewed former cameraman Charlie Rocket weeks ago, who claimed that Soulja Boy spat in his food during a 2007 work trip. Soulja Boy strongly denied the allegation and even called Burruss a “bald-headed b***h” during a public Instagram rant.

After speaking with T.I., Soulja Boy issued a public apology on October 25 before appearing on “Speak On It” to sit down with the singer and tell his side of the situation.
