Soulja Boy was arrested after a visit to his probation officer. According to TMZ, Soulja has been on probation for eight years from a previous weapons charge and any current day violations will result in detainment.
The rapper was accused of holding a woman hostage in his garage last month, and when police searched his home, they found ammunition in his possession. The judge strictly prohibited any form of weaponry as a part of his probation, so that created a serious issue for Soulja.
According to TMZ, authorities decided to wait until Soulja was set to visit his probation officer to make the arrest. Soulja is currently in a Van Nuys jail, where he is awaiting court.
Let’s hope this minor setback doesn’t affect Young Draco’s big comeback!
