Pretty Ricky’s Spectacular Smith Sued for Sexual Assault After Woman Says He DM’d Her on Instagram for Restaurant Recommendations

Spectacular Smith sued for sexual assault is where the Pretty Ricky founding member now sits, after an Arizona woman filed a civil complaint against him in Maricopa County Superior Court. Alexis Dieng filed on August 12, accusing Smith of sexual assault and battery over an alleged encounter in October 2025. The allegations have not been proven, and Smith has not responded publicly.

The complaint says it started the way almost nothing alarming starts. Dieng alleges Smith contacted her through Instagram on or about October 23, 2025, opening with a request for restaurant recommendations. She says he spent the hours that followed talking with her and cultivating her trust, and eventually arranged to meet her in person the next night.

Dieng says Smith gave her one location and then changed it to a residence in Maricopa County, where she arrived alone around 10:10 p.m. The location change is one of the details her attorneys lean on, because a meeting that shifts from a public place to a private address is a different meeting than the one she agreed to.

From there the filing describes what she says happened inside. Dieng alleges Smith initiated physical contact and had sex with her without her consent. She claims he put his hands on her neck and applied pressure that made it hard for her to breathe. She also alleges he recorded all or part of the encounter on a recording device without her permission, which in Arizona is its own separate legal problem on top of the assault claims.

What gives the complaint more weight than most filings of this kind is what she says she did the next day. Dieng claims she underwent a forensic sexual assault examination at a Family Advocacy Center in Phoenix. According to the complaint, that exam documented tenderness, redness and an indentation on the right side of her neck, which her attorneys describe as consistent with strangulation, along with tenderness and redness in her vaginal area. The complaint states the offense listed in the police report was sexual assault under Arizona law.

She also says she received treatment at the Carl T. Hayden Veterans’ Administration Medical Center and has needed ongoing medical and psychological care since.

Her attorney, Benjamin Taylor, told TMZ his side plans to seek justice for their client. Neither Smith nor his representatives had issued a statement as of TMZ’s reporting.

Smith, a Miami native, rose to fame as a founding member of Pretty Ricky, the group behind “Grind With Me” and “Your Body,” and later appeared on Love & Hip Hop before moving into business as the founder of the social media firm Adwizar. He was arrested in December 2020 on a misdemeanor battery charge after allegedly punching a Walt Disney World employee at Animal Kingdom during a dispute that began with a coronavirus joke.

This one is a civil case, which means the standard is lower than a criminal trial and the outcome is money rather than prison. It also means Smith has to answer the complaint in court rather than in a statement, and that response is the next thing to watch.
