Stefon Diggs Asks Judge To Pause Ferrari Lawsuit, Says He Cannot Fully Defend Himself Until Every Alleged Co-Conspirator Is Served

Stefon Diggs’ legal fight with Christopher Blake Griffith has moved from sweeping allegations to one very specific question: how did they actually know each other? The Stefon Diggs lawsuit is now facing a discovery fight after a federal judge ordered the NFL wide receiver to give a fuller answer about his relationship with Griffith before the alleged 2023 incident.

According to TMZ Sports, Griffith asked Diggs to describe their prior relationship, but Diggs reportedly answered that they were “acquaintances.” The judge said that was not enough and ordered Diggs to provide a “truthful, complete, and non-evasive” response. TMZ also reports Diggs must answer more fully about May 2023 interactions with Griffith and who was present at his Rockville, Maryland residence.

The case, Diggs v. Griffith, is in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. Court docket records list Diggs as plaintiff, Griffith as defendant and counter-claimant, and show Griffith filed a counterclaim on November 21, 2025. The docket also shows Griffith later filed motions to compel discovery in April 2026.

Griffith has accused Diggs of drugging and sexually assaulting him during a May 22, 2023 encounter, claims Diggs has denied. Diggs sued Griffith for defamation, accusing him of fabricating the allegations, while Griffith countersued with his own claims, including sexual battery and related allegations.

Still, Diggs did score one discovery win. TMZ reports the judge ruled he does not have to answer questions about prior possession or distribution of controlled substances. The new order gives him 14 days from June 3 to provide the additional answers, with possible sanctions if he does not comply.
