“This Is Us” actor Sterling K. Brown keeps serving up #BlackManMagic and making history, this time for being the first African American person to win the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama at the 24th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.

This is the second time Brown changed the game. Just a couple weeks ago he became the first Black man to take home a Golden Globe for a TV drama. Brown who plays “Randall” on the series, delivered an acceptance speech on Sunday that showed his humbleness and genuine joy for his craft.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“What a blessing it is to do what you love for a living,” he said. “What an honor it is to be recognized by your peers for a job well done. This room is a source of endless inspiration for me.”– “People call us [actors] weird and strange. The truth of the matter is, everybody is weird and strange and we just embrace ourselves for who we are.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Fall of 2017 wasn’t too bad for Brown either. Brown was the first Black actor to win an Emmy for outstanding lead actor since 1998.

The NBC hit series, “This Is Us” also bagged the best series award just moments after his speech.

Congrats, Sterling!
