Young Thug Accuses Real Estate Developer Of Conspiring To Sell Him A Flawed $2.5 Million House; Says He Shouldn’t Have To Pay The Balance On It

Last year, Young Thug was hit with a $2.2 million lawsuit over unpaid payments on a Georgia mansion.

According to the @blast, the rapper purchased a $2.475 million home in the Peach State. However, Heritage Select Homes filed a suit against Thug for failing to make the final payment on the home back in March.

In docs obtained by the publication, Thug made a few payments before the remaining $2.2 million was due. However, he failed to cough up the balance, which resulted in the lawsuit.

Now though, according to the @blast, Thug claims he shouldn’t have to pay the rest of the money because the house was falling apart when he purchased it.

In Thug’s response to Heritage’s suit, he claims the company failed to disclose the house’s flaws prior to his purchase. Thug says the 6-bedroom, 11-bathroom, 11,000 sq. ft. mansion had foundation damage, a leaky roof and mold in the basement.

The rapper also claims the company worked with his real estate agent to hire an inspection team for a phony inspection. He says he knows because he hired his own inspection team after he moved in and discovered a ton of issues.

As a result, Thug is asking for the case to be dismissed. He also has fired a counterclaim accusing the company of fraud.

The case is under investigation.
