The coronavirus crisis has left most concerts around the world canceled or postponed.

And now, Ticketmaster is under fire for changing the wording in its refund policy during the pandemic.

Initially, their policy said that if a show is postponed or rescheduled, you could either use that ticket for the new date or get a full refund.

But now the site says you’ll only get your money back if a show is canceled.

This wouldn’t be a problem if most of the concerts and events were canceled; however, artists and venues have consistently been postponing shows to a future date.

According to Ticketmaster’s website, “If you see a ‘Request a Refund’ link under Self Service, you are good to go.”

But they mostly leave that decision to the event organizers, writing, “If your event has been rescheduled and the event’s organizer is offering refunds, this option will be visible under the event in your Ticketmaster account.”
