Joe Exotic has been the topic of much talk these days. Now, in a new special surrounding the now-infamous Tiger King, questions are being raised regarding the basis of his murder-for-hire conviction.
TMZ interviewed Allen Glover and other eccentric characters from the hit Netflix series for Monday night’s FOX primetime special, TMZ Investigates: Tiger King — What Really Went Down? In the follow-up special, Glover made his hate for Joe Exotic painfully clear, saying he wished he could do more to hurt Joe as payback for all the misery he caused to both people and animals. In fact, he blatantly stated that he was eager to pay Exotic back.
“I just wanted to fucking pay him back for the little bit of the shit that he caused. All the harm and the fucking misery that he gave to everyone here at this park,” Glover said, adding, “and animals. Period.”
As mentioned in the docu-series, Exotic paid Glover $3k. Exotic claimed that the funds were to get Clover out of the zoo. However, Glover said he was paid the money to kill Joe’s biggest enemy, Carole Baskin.
“That was a very small fucking thing I did,” Glover said.” I wish I coulda done more to him. I do.”
During the trial, Glover’s testimony was critical to Exotic’s conviction, considering he was the only person that Exotic gave money to. The jury felt like this proved that Exotic was determined to kill the big cat activist.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“He just wanted her dead,” Glover said. “He paid me money to go murder that lady, and that’s the end of it. There’s nothing else to it.”
Another eyebrow-raising revelation in the special was Jeff Lowe and others claiming that Exotic told numerous people about wanting to have Baskin murdered, something that most people would argue is not common of someone seeking to kill another person.
Monday night’s special also examined the new investigation into the death of Baskin’s second husband, Don Lewis, who disappeared mysteriously. Baskin has adamantly denied any involvement in Don’s disappearance
