Trina is clearing the air after a viral concert clip had social media convinced she was going off on her husband, Benjamin “Swurv” Kearse, during a recent live performance. In the video, the Miami rap icon appears visibly upset while yelling toward the stage area before grabbing Swurv’s arm and pulling him away from the crowd, sparking immediate reactions online.

The footage spread quickly across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, with many viewers speculating that the couple was arguing in public. But according to Trina, that was never the situation.
In a statement shared to Instagram, Trina denied checking or embarrassing her husband and said her actions came after an altercation allegedly broke out on stage during the show.
“I was NOT checking my husband,” she wrote. “I was making sure he was good due to an altercation that took place on stage.” She also accused social media users of pushing a “false narrative” about the moment.
The rapper, whose real name is Katrina Taylor, privately married the rapper and entrepreneur in 2024 after years together.
Even with Trina explaining the situation, the clip continues circulating online as fans debate whether the moment looked more protective than confrontational. Either way, the internet definitely had something to say once cameras caught the interaction in real time.
