Rolling Stone has released its list of 200 greatest singers of all time to kick off the new year. The list is filled with singers of all genres ranging from Aretha Franklin to Frank Sinatra, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson and Jazmine Sullivan.
Since its release, Twitter has erupted in what seems to be disbelief and disappointment, as many feel that the list isn’t a true reflection of what they deem the greatest singers of all time, especially without the mention of grammy award winner Celine Dion.
One singer, in particular, is Rihanna. The “What’s My Name” singer has been trending since the announcement of her Super Bowl performance. She’s now trending due to her 68th spot on the list, which many feel is underserved.
The order of the list is in question as well. Some tweets included throwback videos of Jazmine Sullivan and Michael Jackson showcasing their vocals at a young age.

It seems like Rolling Stone has some explaining to do.
