Tyreek Hill Trial Takes A New Turn As Police Officer Testifies Wife Did Not Report Being Physically Attacked

Tyreek Hill and Keeta Vaccaro

A police officer who responded to a domestic disturbance at Tyreek Hill’s Florida condominium told jurors Monday that his estranged wife did not report being physically attacked during the confrontation, marking a significant development in the former Miami Dolphins star’s ongoing civil trial.

According to WFLA News, Sunny Isles Beach police officer Sebastian Cuellar testified on October 12 about responding to an April 7, 2025, incident involving Hill and Lakeeta “Keeta” Vaccaro. His testimony comes as Vaccaro pursues domestic violence allegations against the NFL free agent, who denies physically abusing her.

During the Tyreek Hill trial, Cuellar told the court that Vaccaro did not tell him she had been battered and no one told me he attacked her.

However, the officer also acknowledged observing a mark on Vaccaro’s chest.

The Associated Press previously reported that responding officers documented a bruise on her upper chest. According to the police report, Vaccaro said the injury might have occurred accidentally when Hill took their infant daughter from her arms.

Cuellar also testified that Vaccaro declined to provide a written statement or allow photographs of the mark, WFLA reported. Officers made no arrest following the disturbance.

The confrontation began after Vaccaro’s mother, Alesia Vaccaro, contacted authorities out of concern for her daughter.

According to People, Alesia told police Hill had thrown a computer onto the floor and taken the couple’s baby during an argument about his involvement in parenting.

Both Hill and Vaccaro reportedly told responding officers that the argument had not become physical. Police also determined that their daughter was unharmed.

Vaccaro filed for divorce the following day, April 8, 2025.

However, the Tyreek Hill trial involves allegations extending beyond that single police response.

According to Reuters, Vaccaro subsequently accused Hill of eight instances of domestic violence during their marriage, including alleged assaults while she was pregnant.

Her claims include being thrown to the ground, having her hair pulled, and being physically grabbed during disagreements over a proposed postnuptial agreement.

Hill has denied the allegations, while his legal representatives have argued that the accusations are part of an effort to obtain additional money through the divorce proceedings.

The couple married in November 2023 and welcomed their daughter, Capri, in November 2024. Their relationship became the subject of increased public scrutiny following the April 2025 disturbance.

During testimony on October 6, Vaccaro described alleged violent encounters stemming from disagreements over the proposed postnuptial agreement.

According to Court TV, she testified that arguments escalated when she did not give Hill the responses he wanted. Her civil lawsuit seeks monetary damages for injuries she attributes to the alleged abuse.

The Tyreek Hill trial has also featured testimony from the former NFL receiver himself, including admissions about his conduct during the marriage.

On October 9, Hill acknowledged verbally mistreating Vaccaro but maintained that he never physically assaulted her.

“I already admitted to verbally abusing my wife, and I’m sorry for that,” Hill testified.

Jurors have also heard audio captured by a baby monitor during a heated confrontation inside the couple’s home. Local 10 News reported that the recording included shouting and loud banging.

Another disputed moment involves damage to a wall inside their residence.

Local 10 reported that Hill initially testified about pushing Vaccaro against a wall during an argument. However, during subsequent testimony, Hill attributed the damage to a door striking the wall as he attempted to move away from her, according to Court TV.

The conflicting accounts have placed additional scrutiny on Hill’s testimony as both sides present their versions of the marriage.

Hill also has a separate history involving domestic violence. According to the Associated Press, he pleaded guilty in 2015 to domestic assault and battery by strangulation involving his then-pregnant girlfriend. He received three years of probation. That earlier case does not establish the truth of Vaccaro’s current allegations.

Meanwhile, Vaccaro is seeking full custody of the couple’s daughter, according to WFLA. That custody dispute is separate from the jury’s consideration of her civil damages claims.

No criminal charges have been filed against Hill in connection with Vaccaro’s latest allegations.

As the Tyreek Hill trial continues, Cuellar’s testimony provides jurors with an account of what police were told during the April 2025 disturbance. However, the absence of an arrest does not resolve the broader accusations, leaving jurors to weigh the conflicting testimony and evidence before determining whether Hill bears civil liability.
