Wale was involved in a brief physical altercation with a fan at WWE Monday Night Raw in Washington, D.C., after the two traded words on Twitter, according to multiple reports.
The trouble started when a Twitter user challenged the rapper to meet him at the show. TMZ, citing witnesses, reported that Wale found the fan at the Verizon Center and punched him. Video that surfaced later, as described by HotNewHipHop, shows a short scuffle rather than a full punch, and other sources said Wale pushed the man. The accounts do not match, and Wale had not publicly addressed the incident at the time of this post.
Security broke it up and separated both men. Wale then returned to his seat, where he was seen with popcorn.
Wale has often been vocal on Twitter, and this was a reminder that online beef can follow you to a live arena. Reports did not say whether the fan planned to take any action.
