The West Hollywood nightclub that criticized Draya Michele over a missed appearance is moving forward with a lawsuit, according to TMZ.
Earlier this month, Penthouse Nightclub said Draya was paid to appear but left after seeing the crowd, and a hostess alleged she made disparaging remarks about gay patrons. Draya has denied that. She says she became ill after a family event earlier that day, and she says the club owner threatened to make her look bad in the media.
TMZ reports the lawsuit leaves out the alleged remarks entirely. It does say Draya texted the club that she was tired, not sick. The club is reportedly seeking the $2,500 deposit and additional damages. Draya has not backed down from her version of events.
