White House Sparks Outrage After Using Lil Wayne’s “Fireman” To Celebrate Iran Strike [Video]

The official White House TikTok account posted a short clip showing footage of United States missile strikes targeting Iran. However, what really grabbed attention was the soundtrack. The video used Lil Wayne’s 2005 hit “Fireman,” a record known for its aggressive energy and iconic hook.

The caption kept things short and bold. “Coming in hot,” the post reads. So the visual message was clear. The administration paired the high-intensity track with military footage to frame the strikes as a moment of power and force.

Because “Fireman” carries a reputation as one of Wayne’s most explosive songs, the choice instantly sparked conversation online. Some viewers said the song’s energy matched the visuals, while others questioned using a rap anthem to promote military action. Either way, the clip quickly made rounds across platforms.

The moment also reopened discussion about Lil Wayne’s past connection to Donald Trump. Back in 2020, Wayne publicly endorsed Trump and shared a photo with him that sent timelines into chaos. Trump later granted the rapper a presidential pardon in early 2021.

Wayne has since tried to distance himself from the political narrative around that moment. Speaking to Rolling Stone in 2025, he explained how little he engages with politics.

“I would’ve told him, ‘You probably don’t want that,’ because I don’t know what’s going on,” Wayne said. “I can tell you who won the last game, but I can’t really… You know what I mean?”

He also pushed back on people labeling him politically aligned.

“I don’t feel about it. I don’t give a f**k about that type of s**t. Tell them my d**k big, though.”

Lil Wayne has not responded to the use of his song in the clip.

they are all useless and a waste of oxygen and skin! And if you’re running around talking about how big you are junk is, well, that usually denotes the opposite. The government has no class and no moral high ground, and Lil Wayne is just an imbecile. A match made in heaven, lol!
