Over the weekend, the biggest night in sports kicked off in the Sunshine State in the epicenter of the state’s party scene, Miami.
While most people went back home with stories of a lifetime, after a weeks worth of festivities in the party city, others came back with horror stories of a living nightmare. In fact, one man, in particular, was robbed of a $36,000 watch after bringing a girl home from the club, and now, he’s asking for the public’s help to identify the pretty thief.
Just days before the city became overrun with ballers, groupies, football fans, and tourists; a 28-year-old traveled to a party at LIV nightclub in Miami Beach to enjoy the pre-Super Bowl turn up.
While there, the man, who asked to remain anonymous, met a woman, who went by the name “Carolina,” and together, the two danced and barhopped until about 5 a.m.
After the club, the man said he took Carolina back to a friend’s house on Grant Street in Hollywood, where he may have been drugged.
According to Sun-Sentinel, the man said he locked the door to his white 2015 Tesla, but after the woman left, he noticed that his $500 key fob was missing. When he went to the car, he noticed that his $36,000 Rolex Daytona was missing from the car’s cup holder, so he immediately called the police.
In the incident report, the man said Carolina stepped out of the home at around 7:30 a.m. with the keys to the car. As she fled the scene, she unlocked the door, and about 10 minutes later, a man is seen, on security footage, reaching into the car, to presumably steal the watch. Now, as a result, officials are asking for the public’s help to identify the woman, who is believed to be from New Jersey.
