Mandy, a 35 year old waitress from Germany, posted photos of her newly tattooed eyebrows on Facebook and was met with a wave of mocking comments and memes, according to reports at the time.
Mandy said she had very little eyebrow hair of her own and was tired of drawing them on every day, so she decided to get them tattooed. She told media she does not regret it and that the process was a little painful but bearable.
The attention grew fast. Mandy said she never imagined national and international outlets would cover her post, and she reported gaining more than 7,000 followers. She also said the attention brought modeling interest. “I handle the situation in a positive way,” she said.
