An unconfirmed paternity claim involving Drake made the rounds on social media in April 2017. A woman named Laquana says she is pregnant and that the rapper is the father.
According to Laquana, Drake sent a friend to her Instagram page back in February to start a meetup. She says she was then given his phone number, talked with him for a bit, and was flown out to see him. She claims the two spent time together after that trip.
Laquana says things seemed fine until March, when she told Drake she was pregnant. That is when she claims he stopped responding to her.
She shared what she said were text messages between the two of them on her own Instagram page, along with a photo of a pregnancy test dated April 17. Baller Alert has not verified the messages or the test, and there is no confirmation that the texts came from Drake.
Drake has not publicly responded to the claim, and his representatives had not issued a statement when this story was published. Until there is confirmation from either side, this remains an allegation.
