Cardi B’s Rumored New Man Is Being Called Out By His Son’s Mother: “I Made You”

Maduka Okoye is being publicly called out by the mother of his son just as his name climbs into a completely different tier of celebrity. The Udinese and Super Eagles goalkeeper was photographed at dinner with Cardi B in Venice this weekend, less than a month after the two sat side by side at the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall/Winter 2026 haute couture show during Paris Fashion Week. Neither has confirmed a relationship. Within hours of the Venice photos spreading, Jelicia Westhoff, the Dutch model who shares a young son with him, filled her Instagram Story with a series of statements that reopened everything she had spent the last year and a half putting away.

The most significant thing in the run of posts is not any single accusation. It is the retraction of a retraction. Westhoff wrote that she kept quiet and lied about what was done to her so that his career could continue, and that she is finished doing it. She said the effect of that silence was to make her look like a bitter mother while she was the one holding him up before anyone knew his name. “I MADE YOU,” she wrote, saying no one knew who he was and that instead of being loved for it she was beaten, cheated on, and made to believe she was the problem.

Long white text on a black background presenting a personal monologue about abuse, family, and calling out accusations; tone is accusatory and defensive.

That framing matters because of what happened last month. In June, Westhoff posted a Father’s Day message that addressed the resurfaced abuse allegations directly and said both of them had moved past the situation, with the focus now on peace and family. Coverage across Nigerian and international outlets treated it as a clean close to a messy chapter. Her new posts say the opposite. She wrote that a team forced her to fix someone else’s image, that she had no choice because a person with an image can do what they want and anyone who refuses gets a whole team coming after them, and that this was the last time she listens to any team about cleaning anyone’s name.

Maduka Okoye has not responded to any of it. He has never responded to her previous claims either. In December 2024 Westhoff accused him of locking her and their then two year old son out of their home and posted images she said showed bruising, along with allegations of domestic violence. Those posts were deleted. Days later came a public apology and a family photo. The pattern of accusation, deletion, and reconciliation has repeated enough times that a section of the audience has stopped taking any of it at face value, which is exactly the problem she is naming in the new posts. She wrote that people call her a liar and jealous, that police came to the house many times, that she could have pressed charges and did not, and that she took the hit so his name stayed clean.

The rest of the Story run is about the child. Westhoff says their son has not seen his father in months, that he saw him twice this year and three times last year, and that the boy has had hospital appointments since December that his father has not attended. She wrote that the child is almost four and old enough to understand a promise, and that he has been asking for sixteen weeks whether his father is still coming. She says her lawyers have been emailing about support for months. She also alleges he stopped supporting their son financially because she will not be in a relationship with him.

Her challenge is the line that will travel.

“Ask him 3 Recent pictures with our son and i will be quiet,” she wrote, then repeated it as a demand across a separate slide asking him to post four recent pictures with his child. She framed the entire situation as a matter of principle rather than jealousy, writing that she is not mad about who he dates, that she has her own money, and that she left him rather than the reverse. “You can do all to me, i can handle that,” she wrote, “but you have Play with someone else child, not Mine.”

Westhoff also made claims about Okoye’s sexuality across several slides, saying he cheated on her with men and women and that he admitted it to her. Those are her allegations and hers alone. Okoye has never addressed them and there is no independent verification of any of it.

The timing is the part nobody can pretend is coincidental, and Westhoff more or less says so. She wrote that people are treating her as though she lost something, that she was with him since 2020, and that watching him move through the world as an influencer while their son goes unseen is what finally broke the silence. Maduka Okoye became a genuine internet phenomenon this summer. His Instagram following jumped past a million within a week of Nigeria’s June friendly against Portugal, up from roughly 250,000. The Cardi B sightings turned a football story into an entertainment one. Every new photo of him in Venice or Paris now sits next to a mother saying her son has not been picked up in a year.

Cardi B has not commented. Neither has Okoye, and based on the last eighteen months, there is no particular reason to expect he will.
