Young Thug Links Up with the Same Rabbi Ye Just Apologized To—And No One Knows Why [Video]

Young Thug was recently seen meeting with Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto, just days after Ye publicly apologized to the same rabbi for past antisemitic comments.

Footage of the Thug’s sit-down with Rabbi Pinto surfaced online Friday morning. While there’s no audio or official statement explaining the purpose of the meeting, the timing, so soon after Ye’s own interaction with the rabbi, has sparked speculation about Thugger’s motives.

Unlike Ye, Young Thug has not been involved in antisemitic controversies. However, the fallout from his YSL RICO case has left Thugger admittedly lost.

Ye’s apology hasn’t cleared him of scrutiny, though it has opened the door for him to regain relationships and fans that separated from the Chicago star. Still, not everyone is sold. Officials in Brazil recently warned they could arrest him if he performs his controversial track “Heil Hitler” in São Paulo.

“No one who promotes Nazism will play or sing any words on public equipment,” said Mayor Ricardo Nunes.

For Young Thug, the meeting appears to be more low-key, possibly signaling a desire for private growth or a show of solidarity.
