Yung Miami says her new man is bringing out a version of her that fans have not seen in a while, and she is crediting him for the shift. During a candid moment on “Way Up With Angela Yee,” the former City Girls rapper opened up about where her love life stands these days.

“I been had a man for a while now,” she revealed. “I’m glowing different”This revelation is news to fans, who last linked her to Diddy. Rumors of the pair were first sparked in 2021, and the two spent years in the public eye together before quietly parting ways in 2023. Their split came before the wave of federal allegations that eventually landed Diddy in prison. The mogul was convicted on two counts of violating the Mann Act and sentenced to four years last September, closing a chapter that Miami has spent the better part of two years trying to separate herself from publicly.
She did not disappear quietly, though. Miami wrote a letter to the trial judge before sentencing, describing her ex as loving, genuine, and supportive behind closed doors, a version of him she said the public never got to see. That letter cost her. She told Charlamagne Tha God during an Out of Context sit-down that standing by Diddy cost her business deals, friendships, and money.
“It was a lot,” she admitted on the show, adding that she lost people close to her along the way.
Fast forward to now, and Yung Miami’s new man appears to be giving her back some of what that loyalty took away. She has been vocal for months about what she wants moving forward. She also told UPROXX’s Sound Check that her next man needs to be God-fearing and pull in at least one hundred million dollars, a bar she set only half-joking. She also made clear she is not rushing anything, describing her dating life at the time as just living and having fun. Whether her current situation checks every box on that list is not confirmed, but the description she gave on “Way Up With Angela Yee” suggests she has at least found someone secure enough not to compete with her spotlight.
Yung Miami’s new man has not been named, and she has kept the details private beyond the vibe check she gave listeners. Given how much of her last relationship played out in headlines, court filings, and think pieces, the privacy might be the point this time around.
