Yung Miami’s “Watch Dis!” has officially debuted at No. 138 on this week’s Billboard 200, with a reported first-week total of approximately 10,500 units. The numbers are in for the rapper’s first solo album, marking a new chapter in her career following the end of City Girls.
The October 23 release entered the chart after a promotional run that included a successful lead single, multiple music videos, high-profile collaborations, and interviews about Miami’s decision to step out on her own.
Watch Dis!” arrived through Uptown Records with 21 tracks and an impressive guest list featuring Travis Scott, Summer Walker, Quavo, G Herbo, Rick Ross, Trina, Trick Daddy, Bryson Tiller, and Pleasure P.
The project followed the success of “Spend Dat,” which became one of Miami’s biggest solo records. The song peaked at No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100, reached No. 2 on the Hot Rap Songs chart, and earned platinum certification from the RIAA.
That momentum helped set expectations for “Watch Dis!,” particularly as Miami spent months positioning the project as her introduction to audiences outside the City Girls partnership.
Before the album dropped, Miami acknowledged the criticism surrounding her solo career.
Made to order and shipped to your door.
“They counted me out, and I heard every bit of it,” she said while announcing the project in October.
She backed that confidence with an aggressive rollout, releasing “F You” and “2008” on the same day. The album also leaned into her Miami roots, mixing club records with more personal material about her relationships and career.
One of its most discussed tracks, “Dear JT,” addresses her complicated history with former City Girls partner JT. Miami reflects on their friendship, their success together, and the distance that eventually developed between them.
The song arrived after the duo parted ways in 2024 to pursue individual careers. Their final album together, “RAW,” was released in 2023.
Other songs take a different direction. “Dade County” reunites Miami with Rick Ross, Trina, and Trick Daddy for a hometown collaboration, while “Just Might Go” features Travis Scott. Summer Walker appears on “Ride For You.”
Outside music, Miami has also established herself as a media personality through her interview series Caresha Please. However, “Watch Dis!” represents her first full-length attempt to establish herself commercially as a solo rapper.
The debut now gives Miami a starting point on the Billboard 200, although it falls short of the higher chart positions often associated with major-label releases featuring established stars.
The next test will be whether songs beyond “Spend Dat” can build enough momentum to keep “Watch Dis!” on the chart in the coming weeks.
For now, Miami has secured her first solo album entry on the Billboard 200, and its opening position is No. 138.
