Lamar Odom’s health may be improving slightly but that doesn’t mean that everything is all good.
The former Laker star could possibly be facing felony drug charges after nearly losing his life to an overdose. Reports say that Odom’s case case is about to be turned over to the D.A and the Nye County Sheriff’s Department feels that since cocaine was allegedly found in his system, he should be prosecuted. Law enforcement plans to turn his blood test over to the D.A. as soon as possible. In Nevada, felony drug use is punishable by up to 4 years in prison, but since Lamar would be a considered a first time offender, he may see much less jail time, if any at all.
As far as his health goes, he’s not exactly out of the woods there either. Lamar Odom is reportedly experiencing kidney failure and will have to undergo 6 hours of dialysis a day. The end game may result in Odom needing a transplant. Sources say Rob Kardashian is willing to undergo tests to determine whether he is a possible donor match.
While still a patient at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A., doctors will perform brain tests to help determine the extent of damage the strokes had on Lamar.
Here’s to hoping all aspects of Lamar’s life get squared away.
